Abstract Introduction: Purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating role of social support in the relationship between hardiness and sense of coherence with quality of life in 2017.
Methods: In a correlation study, 116 employees of Musa ibn Ja'far and Army hospitals in Quchan were randomly selected and responded to WHO Quality of Life (1998), Antonovsky's sense of coherence (1987), Kobasa Hardiness (1979) and perceived social support questionnaires (1988). Data were processed through Mediated Hierarchical regression analysis by means of Baron and Kenny (1986) methods and using SPSS version 20 software.
Results: Findings Shown that hardiness and sense of coherence are correlated with quality of life separately (P <0.01) and predict it, but with the advent of social support, the relationship between hardiness and a sense of coherence increases with quality of life. The mediating role of social support in interacting with hardiness variables (P < 0.0001, F = 39.12) and sense of coherence (P <0.0001, FF = 14.85) significantly increased the variance of life quality variable.
Conclusion: Social support adds to the potency of the positive effects of hardiness and the sense of coherence on the quality of life. Therefore, implementation of management interventions in the hospital environment is recommended in order to increase the social support of the staff. The results are discussed for hospital managers.

Abstract Objective: The present study aimed to investigate psychometric attributes of the Experience of Parasocial Interaction Scale in Iranian students sample.
Method: The research design was descriptive and validation study. The statistical population of the study consisted of students from the faculty of literature and humanities of the University of Guilan in 1397 (N=4114). Among them, 240 female and male students were selected by available sampling method. In order to evaluate the Iranian version of experience of parasocial interaction scale and related video message (Hartmann & Goldhoorn, 2011), measures for evaluating addressing, perceived attractiveness, perceived trustworthiness, perceived expertise, perspective-taking, enjoyment and commitment to the norms were used. Data were processed by SPSS24 software using Pearson correlation coefficient, exploratory factor analysis and univariate analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis.
Results: Exploratory factor analysis revealed that extracted factor explaining 56.53 of EPSI variance. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated to be 0.84. Correlation coefficient of EPSI with other measures was got ranging from 0.13 to 0.53 (p Conclusion: Considering appropriate psychometric attributes of the Iranian version of experience of parasocial interaction, the present scale can be used in studies of parasocial interaction with media and related studies of parasocial bonds.
The effect of television channels located in out of country (satellite) on marital satisfaction, marital adjustment and marital intimacy of married college students
Volume 7, Issue 28, Autumn 2018, Pages 83-100
Abstract Introduction: In recent years established a several television networks to influence and change cultural tastes of Iranians in outside the country. Therefore, present research examined the impact of television channels located in out of country (satellite) on marital satisfaction, marital adjustment and marital intimacy of married college students in Rasht city. The study method was descriptive and survey and research design was causal-comparative (analytical and -group Contrasts). For this purpose 205 married students (132 women and 73 men) in the governmental and non-governmental universities in Rasht city were selected by convenience sampling method, Then each of them responded to the questionnaire on demographic information, Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Test, Hudson marital satisfaction index, Walker and Thompson intimacy scale. Data were analyzed by SPSS version 20 software using Pearson correlation coefficient and univariate analysis of variance (in a factorial design 2 × 2).
Results: The findings indicated that there is no relation between the number of use hours of television channels located in out of country with each of marital satisfaction, marital adjustment and marital intimacy variables. However, when group contrasts (analyses of variance) were found, regardless of gender factor, the main effect of the use of satellites leads to a decrease in marital satisfaction (F= 4.316, P=0.039), marital adjustment (F=8.341, P=0.004) and marital intimacy (F= 5.780, P=0.017) in college students.
Conclusion: The use of television channels located in out of country threatens marital satisfaction, marital adjustment and marital intimacy of married college students and the Satellite audiences compared to those who do not use the satellite having less marital satisfaction, marital adjustment and marital intimacy.
