Terms and Conditions

  • The submitted articles must be in the specialized field of the journal and have an educational or research aspect and the conclusion of the research work of the author or authors.
  • Articles taken from students' theses and dissertations are published in the name of the supervisor, advisors and students and with the approval of the supervisor and his / her responsibilities.
  • In addition to the subject matter of the article in the specialized domain of the journal, the article or part of it does not have to be reviewed or published in any journal in Iran or abroad and also does not have to be submitted to other journals at the same time. Papers presented in the form of abstracts in congresses, symposia, internal and external seminars that have been published, can be presented in the form of a full article.
  • The official language of the magazine is Persian but could be include some abstracts in English.
  • Articles translated from other languages ​​will not be accepted.
  • The publication is free to reject or accept, edit, summarize or modify the accepted articles and is gratis and exempt from returning the received articles.
  • The responsibility for the scientific, legal and scientific content of the article is the responsibility of the author, and the publication of the article does not imply endorsement of all its contents.
  • The original of the rejected or canceled articles will be removed from the journal archive after six months and the journal will not have any responsibility to that.
  • The typewriting of the submitted articles has to be on A4 paper, with B Lotus thin 12 font, for Latin texts with thin Times New Roman font 11 with approximately 1 cm line spacing in Word environment and 2 cm left and right and 3 cm spacing from the top and bottom of the paper.
  •  The punctuation commands has to be observed in the text. E.g., it is not needed to put a space before the period (.), Comma (,) and the question mark (?), while after them, it is needed to enter a space.
  • All pages of the article, include the pages with a shape / tab / image, have the same cut and page number, and the maximum volume of articles with tabs and diagrams do not have to be more than 20 pages (5000 words).
  • Articles will be received exclusively through the journal database and articles submitted via the journal letter or e-mail will not be processed.
  • After the printing the article, an issue of the journal containing the article will be sent to the author in charge of correspondence.

 

Author Instructions

The Journal of Social Psychology Research publishes scientific articles in the field of social psychology with the goal of publishing original and innovative scientific findings, exchanging scientific information between researchers, and empowering the science production movement. Original research articles, which are scientific reports of research studies, include abstracts, introductions, review methods, findings, discussions, conclusions, and sources.

The submitted article has to include the following sections:

Cover Letter: Along with each article, the following information will be sent in both Persian and English languages:

  • Full title of the article in Persian and English
  • Name and surname of the authors, email, academic rank and place of employment or education of the author / authors (in Persian and English)
  • Full address of the author in charge of correspondence in Persian and English (including postal address – landline number, cellular phone number, fax number and e-mail address)

The following points are required to preparation of the article:

First page: Article information and Abstract

  • Full title of the article in Persian: It has to be concise and expressive and has to indicate the subject of the research and does not have to exceed 20 words.
  • Name and address of the author(s): name, surname, degree, department and e-mail address
  • Persian Abstract: Minimum 200 words and maximum 250 words include introduction (in two or three lines telling the main aim of the article), method, findings, conclusion and keywords (3 to 5 words).
  • English Abstract: Minimum 200 words and maximum 250 words in one paragraph includes introduction, method, findings, conclusion and keywords (3 to 5 words) (after the title in English name, surname, degree, degree and Mention the authors' e-mail address in English)

*Note: Persian and English abstracts have to be completely compatible.

 

Second page: body of the article

  • Introduction: It hast to justify the purpose of the research by presenting the issue and reviewing the researches and especially clearly state the innovation in the research.

 

  • Materials and methods: describe the methods of identification and evaluation, materials and tools used, the method of conducting research and statistical design should be completely clear and in it the details of the place, time and method of testing along with data collection and processing and provide their statistical analysis. It is possible to avoid detailed explanations and only present the principles by denoting the resource. Explain in detail the innovative methods or special cases used for the first time. Assessment tools with a complete description of subscales, scores, psychometric properties in Iranian and non-Iranian samples, implementation method and statistical method and ethical considerations.

 

  • Findings: To provide logical and principled quantitative and qualitative conclusions (if needed using tabs and graphs and classification of conclusions). Each table consists of the number, title, captions and text of the table. Each table is separated by a horizontal line from the table number and title. The top of the table column has to be separated from the text of the table by a horizontal line and a horizontal line has to be drawn below the text of the table. Avoid inserting vertical and horizontal lines inside the text of the tables. All table numbers (s) and graphs are set in English and from left to right. Enter the title of each table at the top. In order to insert the title, after the word "table" and its number, the dash/hyphen and then the title has to be cited. Do not send tables and graphs as images.

 

  • Conclusion and discussion: To analyze the results obtained according to the purpose of the research and the findings of other researches.
    • In the text of the article, the number of photos, tables and diagrams (if any) should be carefully mentioned and their location should be specified.
    • The results of the article are discussed and analyzed with reference to documented scientific sources related to the subject of the article, and new scientific results and innovations in research are presented accurately and with clear reasons. Numerical results of a topic should be presented in only one form (figure or table).

 

  • Tables: The title of the tables must be at the top and not more than 5 (unless the author has an acceptable reason for printing more tables). Enter each table in the appropriate place on a separate page. If the table is obtained from another source, refer to it and act in accordance with the copyright laws.

 

  • Shapes and diagrams: The title of the shapes and diagrams have to be at the bottom and not more than 5 (unless the author has a good reason to print more). Images have to be sent in high quality JPEG in the appropriate place and on separate pages. In case of obtaining a chart or image from another source, refer to it and act in accordance with the copyright laws.
    • The number of table(s), figure (s), image (s) and diagram (s) are determined by presenting their conclusions in the article, respectively, and the location of their number after presenting the relevant results in the text of the article.
    • The conclusions and statistical studies have to be reflected in one of the scientific methods. If the statistical calculations at the levels of 5% and 1% have resulted to a considerable difference, they must be indicated with one and two stars, respectively, and if the difference is not considerable, they must be marked with the sign ns.

 

  • Conflict of Interest: All manuscripts that are submitted to the Social Psychology Research journal must be accompanied by a conflict of the interest disclosure statement or a declaration by the authors that they do not have any conflicts of interest to declare. 

 

  • Acknowledgments: In this section, which is arranged in a maximum of four lines, to thank the natural and legal persons who have assisted in guiding or conducting the research or who have played an effective role in providing funding, facilities and research equipment.
    • The Persian equivalent of foreign concepts and letters must be mentioned in the footnote.

 

  • References: The submitted article must have documented, correct and relevant sources and the author have to be sure that they are correct. At the request of the journal, the author is needed to send the relevant documents. Personal, informal writings and articles evaluated and have not yet been accepted cannot be used as a source.
    •  The references that have been used in the text of the article must be set according to APA criteria as follows:
    •  Article - Surname and first name of the author (s), year of publication, title of the article, name of the journal (italics), period (issue), beginning and end of the article
    •  Book (author) - surname and first name of the author (s), year of publication, title of the book (italics), date of publication, place of publication, publisher
    • Book (translation) - First name and letter (s) First name of the author (s) in capital letters, year of publication of the original text, book title, name and surname of the translator(s), year of translation, date of publication, place of publication, publisher
    • Websites - First write the URL and then the date of visit in days / months / years.

 

In addition to the above, the article is reviewed based on the following conditions:

    • The main file of the article in (Word) format without mentioning the names and details of the authors, a copy with full names and addresses, contact numbers and emails of the authors along with the letter of commitment and the file for paying the initial arbitration/judgement cost through the journal site after registering on the site to be sent.
    • This journal is exempt from reviewing and accepting articles by an author.
    • The final version of the article will be requested after completing the judging process and making changes.
    • Important: If the responsible author does not make the changes requested by the editorial board and reviewers of the journal in accordance with the above criteria within a month and does not send it again to the journal office as in the first step, the article will be removed from the review and judging process.
    • Articles are reviewed as soon as possible and in accordance with the criteria, and the result is reported to the responsible author.
    • It must be noted that if the names of the authors are mentioned in the file without the name of the article, that file will not be sent for the judging process. (Simultaneously with submitting the article files, the commitment file must be completed and sent)
