Peer Review Policy

Journal of Social Psychology Research uses a double anonymous peer review policy for article reviews and refereeing. This means that the identity of the author and reviewers will be anonymous in the process. Therefore, the authors should note that their article should not disclose the authors' information in any way.

1- Registration in the system

Respected author(s) need to register their identity information as new users in the journal's official system before submitting their article.

 

2- Article submission

After logging in to the system, you can enter your "personal page" by username and password and click on "Submit a new article", in the next step, download and fill in the commitment letter and conflict of interests form to submit the article, upload it and finally enter the details of your article. 3- Initial evaluation of the article

The article is evaluated in terms of whether it fits with the content range and goals of the journal and Matching check If it is found to be inconsistent with the content range, the article is rejected, otherwise it can enter the journal provided the format. this step takes at least 2 weeks.

 

4- Review 

The article will be sent to at least 2 judges. The referees review the article in terms of scientific and content adequacy and announce the result of the judging in a clear and concise manner. If one referee's opinion is correct and the other's opinion is non-acceptance, the article will be sent to the third referee. If the third referee's opinion was correction, the article will be sent to the editorial board for final decision. Arbitration is ruled out; this stage takes at least 1 month.

 

5- Making a decision on the article (acceptance / non-acceptance)

After obtaining the opinion of the judges, the editorial board makes a decision based on the opinion of the judges regarding the rejection, correction, or acceptance of the article. If the total comments were non-acceptance of the article, the letter of non-acceptance will be sent to the authors, and the article will be excluded from the review cycle.

If the article was intended to be revised, the items will be sent to the author and the revised article will enter the final acceptance process if the final judges' opinion is satisfied, otherwise it may re-enter the revision process or even be rejected.

After the author's corrections, the article is sent to check its similarity. If the similarity is above 20%, it is removed from the review process; otherwise, it is sent for editing.

 

6- Ready to edit the article

The author in charge of the article must make the changes intended by the judges or the editor, complete the author(s) in the submitted file and the system, and reload the article.

 

7- Printing and publishing the article

Finally, after the authors make corrections and the editorial board gives the final approval and acceptance of the article, the article will enter the acceptance and publication stage. For more information see Article Processing Charges.
