Introduction: Having a healthy society depends on the prosocial behavior of its people, so it is important to understand the factors that affect these behaviors. The aim of this study was to investigate the variance-based model of the mediating role of aggression in the relationship between narcissism and prosociality in university students.Method: The research design is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the study included 7589 students of Islamic Azad University in 2023, and 341 people participated in the research using combined sampling method (The first stage is cluster random and the second stage is available). The questionnaires of narcissism (Raskin and Terry, 1988), aggression (Zahedifar, 2000), and prosocial personality battery (penner, 2002) were used to collect data. Data analysis in the framework of structural equation modeling using Smart P. L. S 3.2.8 software was done. Results: The results showed that the general research model fits well with the data. The findings showed that the direct effect of narcissism on aggression and the direct effect of aggression on the prosocial personality (P<0.01) and the indirect effect of narcissism on prosociality is significant (P <0.05).Conclusion: The results have implications for the conceptualization of narcissism, the importance of the mediating role of aggression, and improving the understanding of prosocial personality. Therefore, considering the confirmation of the mediating role of aggression in the relationship between narcissism and prosocial, programs for training and reducing their aggression can be considered to reduce narcissism and increase prosocial in students.

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of shame and guilt emotions in the relationship between moral characters and aggression.
Method: The research method was descriptive and correlational. The participants of this study were 343 (142 males, 193 females and 8 people did not specify their gender) undergraduate students of Shiraz University in the academic year 1398 who were selected by multistage cluster sampling and completed the Moral Characters Scale (Khormaei and Ghaemi, 1397), the Shame and Guilt Proneness Questionnaire (Cohen et al, 2011) and the Aggression Scale (Bass and Perry, 1992). Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
Finding: The results of structural relationships showed that forgiving and pious characters predict aggression negatively and conscientiousness characters predicts aggression positively. According to the findings, honesty, etiquetee and conscientiousness characters predict feeling of guilt positively, etiquettee character predicts feeling of shame negatively and pious character has a negative relationship with the feeling of shame. Also, feeling of shame positively and feeling of guilt negatively predicted aggression. Moreover, the mediating role of shame and guilt emotions was confirmed in the relationship between moral characters and aggression (P < 0/05).
Conclusion: Overall, the findings showed that moral characters and the emotion of guilt reduce aggression.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to compare CFT and DBT on aggression, self-harm behaviors and emotional self-regulation in Juvenile offenders. Methods: The method of this research was quasi-experimental Pretest Post-test Follow up(PPF) design with two groups. The population of this study included all clients living in Tehran Juvenile Correction and Rehabilitation Center in 2019. The sample was 30 clients living in Tehran Juvenile Correction and Rehabilitation Center. The self-report log of Klonsky and Glenn (2009) self-harming behaviors, Hofmann and Kashdan (2010), the affective style questionnaire and Bass and Perry aggression questionnaire (1992) were used; CFT program was conducted in 12 sessions of 90 minutes and one session per week. The DBT intervention program was performed in 12 sessions of 90 minutes and 1 session per week. Mixed analysis of variance with repeated measures was used to analyze the data. Results: The results showed that Compassion- Focused Therapy and dialectical behavior therapy have consistently reduced aggression, but no difference was observed in the effectiveness of the two intervention methods. The results of this study also showed that compassion-based therapy has improved the intrapersonal and interpersonal functions of self-harm behaviors and the component of adaptation and tolerance of emotional self-regulation Discussion: although there is no significant difference between the effectiveness of the two methods, but CFT and DBT improves the function of self-harming behaviors, aggression and emotional regulation in adolescents. The. These results have many applications in planning to prevent harmful behaviors in adolescents, especially delinquent adolescents.

Introduction: This research aimed to predict the relationship between emotional intelligence and anger rumination with aggression Method: The research was a correlation method. The population was all students of Tabriz University and 377 students were selected by multistage cluster sampling. They answered questionnaires of Bar-on emotional intelligence questionnaire (1997), Bass and Perry aggression questionnaire (1992), and Sukhodolsky et al. anger rumination questionnaire (2001). The data were analyzed by multiple regression. Results: Data analysis showed that emotional intelligence and anger rumination were able to significantly predict aggression changes, while emotional intelligence negatively and anger rumination had a positive role in explaining aggression. Beta coefficients indicated that emotional intelligence with the highest value (-0.64) had a greater role in explaining aggression Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can be deduced that aggression is influenced by cognitive and emotion management and control factors and it is necessary to emphasize cognitive and emotional skills.

Introduction: Despite the effects of inconstant and situational variables on aggression, relative constancy of aggression across life span was confirmed in some studies. The present study aimed to predict the university student’s aggression according to intelligence, temperament dimensions and attachment styles as constant individual variables. Method: The population of the study was Salman Farsi University of Kazerun’s students, that 266 of them were selected by convenience sampling. For gathering data Buss-Perry Aggression questionnaire (Buss & Perry,1992), Temperament and Character inventory (Cloninger, et al., 1994), Adult attachment Inventory (Besharat,2011), The Cultural Fair Intelligence Test III (Cattel,1957) and Marlowe-Crown Social desirability scale (Crown and Marlowe,1960) were used. After controlling the effect of social desirability by partial correlation method, the variables with significant relationships to general aggression were considered for regression analysis with a stepwise method to predict the aggression. Results: Correlation coefficients indicated that aggression positively correlated to avoidant and ambivalent attachment, novel seeking, harm avoidance, and persistence. Besides according to the output of the regression avoidant and ambivalent attachment, harm-avoidance besides social desirability could predict 47% of aggression, although 16% of it was pertinent to social desirably responding. Conclusions: It can be concluded that among normal university students, the weight of constant individual variables to predict aggression is not so much, and perhaps the other residual variance of aggression could be explained by situational or more acquired variables. Considerable to the little role of long-term personality variables, the expectation of modifiability and treatment of student’s aggression by intervention would be increased.

AbstractIntroduction: Teachers play the modeling role in many times. Many theorists have shown that prosocial behavior is affected by exposure to appropriate models. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between aggression and social perspective taking with prosocial behavior through the mediating role of social trust in teachers. Method: The research design is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the study consisted of all teachers working at schools in Sanandaj in 2017. in this study 425 techers were selected through categorical random sampling method. The participants completed the aggression (zahedifar, 1196), social perspective taking (mohaghegi and et al, 2016), pro-social behavior (penner, 2002), social trust(saffarinia and sharif, 2010) questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted by AMOS software using path analysis method. Results: The results showed that the final model has good fitness with the data. The path analysis model has determined that pro-social behavior is influenced by aggression and social perspective taking directly and indirectly through social trust. also, all research hypothesis are conformed. Conclusion: Considering the significant effect of aggression and social perspective taking on pro-social behavior and the possibility of manipulation and training of these variables, the results of this study have implications for promoting community mental health.

The aim of this research was the comparison of forgiveness, aggression and social well-being among among healthy individuals and people with social phobia and narcissism. The research was kind of causal-comparative and it`s sample was composed of 90 people (30 people with social phobia, 30 narcissistic and 30 healthy individuals) that were selected by convenient sampling method. Research tool included Social Phobia Inventory (Connor etal, 2000), Narcissistic Personality Inventory (Raskin & Terry, 1998), Forgiveness Questionnaire (Saffarinia & Mafakheri, 1390), Ahwaz Aggression Scale (Zahedifar, Najarian & Shokrkone, 1379) and Social Well-being Scale (Keyes, 1998). For analyzing data was used of multivariate variance analysis. The results indicated that healthy individuals experienced higher forgiveness and social well-being and lower aggression than narcissistic individuals and people with social phobia. According to the research results, exhibiting educational workshops and considering therapeutic techniques in psychological interventions is recommended for inhancing forgiveness and social well-being and decreasing aggression in narcissistic individuals and people with social phobia.

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the relationship of emotional instability, pro-social behavior and aggression with addiction readiness of secondary High school boy students. Method: This study was a descriptive retrospective one with correlational design. The statistical population consisted of all secondary high school boy students (N=3000) in Quemshahr, out of which 382 students were selected by a random multi-stage cluster sampling, and were asked to fill in emotional instability (Barbareny et.al), pro-social behavior (Kaprar et.al) and aggression (bass and perry), readiness to addiction (Zargar et.al) questionnaires. The data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. Findings: The results showed that all of predictor variables have a significant role in readiness to addiction (P <0.001). Further, results of multiple regression showed the predictor variables jointly are able to explain the variance of readiness to addiction significantly, so that. The pro-social behavior with the higher amount of Beta (β=0.67) also was the best predictor of readiness to addiction. Conclusion: based on the results, the improvement of prosocial behavior, and reduction of emotional instability and aggression seem necessary.

Structural Equation Modeling of Relationships between Parental Acceptance-Rejection, Social Information Processing and Adolescents Aggression
Introduction: Present study investigated the mediating role of social information processing in the relationships between parental acceptance-rejection and adolescents aggression.
Method: Participants were 464 junior high schools in Qazvin city (233 girls and 231 boys) who were selected by multistage cluster sampling. To assessing research variables, Parental Acceptance – Rejection Questionnaire, child version (Rohner, 2005), Social Fiction (Tur-Kaspa & Brayan, 1994) and Aggression Questionnaire (Buss & Perri, 1992) were used. The data was analyzed by structural equation modeling applying AMOS
Results: The result showed that final model has a good fitness. Also, findings of research hypothesis analysis showed that mother acceptance-rejection has been increased adolescents aggression, by direct and indirect effects, (through decrease scores of social information processing, consist of recognize and interpretation, and decision making). Father acceptance-rejection didnt show any effect on research variables.
Conclusion: In general, results of present research provided evidences for mediating role of social information processing in the relationships between mother acceptance-rejection and adolescents aggression
